Privacy Policy

AI Psychoanalyst provides an AI-based self-reflection service. For any question about this policy or your data, contact armen@motivatorica.com.

Account: your email address and the first name you choose.

Sessions: the messages you write and the analyst's replies, plus a short private “case formulation” the service keeps to carry context between sessions.

Technical: a sign-in cookie and basic security and operational logs.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.

We process this data only to provide the service you ask for. Under the GDPR our legal bases are performance of our agreement with you and, for the content of your sessions — which may reveal information about your emotional state or mental health (special-category data) — your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a), collected separately before your first session. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

To generate replies, the content of your messages is sent to Anthropic, PBC (provider of the Claude model) for processing. Anthropic returns a response and, under its commercial API terms, does not use the content to train its models.

Data is held in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted in the United States. If you use the service from the EEA or UK, your data is transferred to the US for storage and processing.

We keep your account and sessions until you delete them. You can export everything or delete your account (with all sessions and letters, permanently) yourself in Settings, or contact armen@motivatorica.com.

If you subscribe to our letters, the question of the week, or a letter to your future self, we store the email address (and, for a future letter, its text) for that purpose only. Every such email is sent only after you confirm the subscription, and each one contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live (for example, the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise a right, contact armen@motivatorica.com.

The service is for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.
